Trinitas Hospital Joins the Mission: Health, Prevention, and Hope for the Elizabeth Community
Elizabeth, New Jersey — July 2026
The Hispanic Association of Health Professionals (AHPSI), the Union County Dominican Parade and Festival Committee, and the Organizing Committee of the 13th Annual “Decide to Be Healthy” Community Health Fair announce that Trinitas Regional Medical Center (part of RWJBarnabas Health) will participate with a large team of health professionals at the upcoming health fair.

- Admission: Free
Trinitas Hospital Team Will Provide:
- Preventive health screenings and health indicator evaluations
- A Same Day Unit nurse
- Four renal team members (nursing professionals) offering education on diabetes and kidney disease prevention
- Three resident physicians for screenings and general medical questions
- A nutritionist providing healthy eating guidance and yogurt samples
- WIC program representatives
- Staff to connect families with hospital services and resources
Call for Volunteers:
Organizers request volunteers to assist on Saturday, July 25 (8:30 AM – 2:00 PM) for setup, and on Sunday, July 26 (starting at 7:30 AM) to help coordinate activities.
