Authentic Physical Therapy Joins Our Health Fair: Movement, Rehabilitation, and Hope for the Community

The Hispanic Association of Health Professionals, Inc. (AHPSI), the Dominican Parade and Festival of Union County, and the Organizing Committee of the XIII Annual Community Health Fair “Decide to Be Healthy” are pleased to announce the participation of Authentic Physical Therapy in this important event dedicated to prevention, education, and community services.

The involvement of Authentic Physical Therapy is a valuable addition for families in Elizabeth and neighboring cities. Their professional team will provide expert guidance on physical wellness, rehabilitation, injury prevention, and the importance of maintaining safe and independent mobility.

Services Offered by Authentic Physical Therapy:

  • Evaluation, rehabilitation, functional diagnosis, and treatment of conditions affecting the:
    • Musculoskeletal system
    • Neuromuscular system
    • Cardiovascular system
    • Pulmonary system
    • Integumentary system

Their work focuses on preventing, minimizing, or eliminating physical limitations, reducing pain, improving movement, and helping people safely participate in family, work, social, and community activities.

During the fair, their professionals will offer guidance on muscle and joint discomfort, fall prevention, back injuries, functional recovery, mobility, therapeutic exercises, and the importance of seeking early care when experiencing pain, weakness, or difficulty with daily activities.

Authentic Physical Therapy will join other rehabilitation and wellness professionals, including Lic. Juan de los Santos and Lic. José Manuel Grullón, strengthening the fair’s offerings in physical therapy, injury prevention, postural education, and therapeutic massage.

Physical therapy is essential not only after an injury or illness — it also helps prevent complications, preserve independence, improve balance and strength, and enhance overall quality of life. It is especially beneficial for older adults, workers, athletes, people with chronic conditions, and those in recovery.

Health fairs play a vital educational role by connecting the community directly with professionals, helping people recognize warning signs, and revealing available services. Timely advice can motivate someone to seek treatment, prevent falls, avoid worsening injuries, or begin a successful recovery.
