DR. HÉCTOR D. REYES: HONORING COMPASSIONATE LEADERSHIP, INSTITUTIONAL COLLABORATION, AND COMMUNITY SERVICE
A career that brings together medicine, education, and generosity in service to our communities
The Dominican Medical Association (CMD), New England–Boston Chapter, and the Hispanic Association of Health Professionals (AHPSI) are honored to announce a special recognition of Dr. Héctor D. Reyes during the welcome reception of the VIII Annual International Medical Congress on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at the Consulate General of the Dominican Republic in Boston, located at 891 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
This distinction celebrates a professional career marked by a steadfast commitment to collaboration, building bridges, and supporting initiatives that contribute to the well-being of our communities.
Education and Leadership in Healthcare
Dr. Reyes earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) and furthered his education with a Master of Business Administration for physicians at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. His multidisciplinary background encompasses medicine, management, education, and technology—fields through which he has contributed to the development of outpatient healthcare services.
The founder of HDR Management Corp. in New York, he has held significant healthcare management positions, including Executive Vice President of Business Development at eMedicalFiles, Inc.; Director of the Latin American Initiative at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s–Roosevelt Hospital; and leadership roles in operations at a Bronx health center and Corinthian Medical IPA (SOMOS).
Dr. Héctor D. Reyes serves as Chief Executive Officer of HDR Healthcare Network, a network of primary care and urgent care centers in New York City. His experience reflects a vision that combines management expertise, institutional collaboration, and responsiveness to patients’ needs.
An Ally of Science and Our Institutions
For AHPSI, Dr. Reyes has been a valued supporter of its scientific and educational programs in New York. His assistance has helped sustain opportunities for continuing education, professional exchange, and growth for healthcare professionals.
His generosity has also extended to the Dominican Medical Association’s Delaware Valley–Philadelphia Chapter and to CMD–New England–Boston throughout these twenty-five years. As we celebrate this anniversary, we gratefully recognize those whose presence, guidance, and support have helped keep our mission alive.
The value of this collaboration extends beyond any single event or date: it strengthens the continuity of our organizations and inspires us to continue advancing medical education and community service.

Solidarity Across Borders
As organizations and fellow partners in community service, we have witnessed Dr. Héctor Reyes’s generosity and willingness to support sports, religious, civic, and professional initiatives in both the United States and the Dominican Republic.
His generosity embraces diverse causes united by a common purpose: improving people’s well-being and strengthening the institutions that serve them. This willingness to stand alongside others is an essential part of the legacy we seek to honor.
For the Organizing Committee, it is a great privilege and a profound honor that Dr. Reyes has accepted this recognition. His presence will allow us to express, on behalf of our community, the gratitude that has grown through years of collaboration.
At this gathering, we will celebrate the physician and the executive, as well as the individual who has transformed his abilities and achievements into opportunities to support others.
Dr. Héctor Reyes: thank you for standing alongside our institutions, believing in education, and demonstrating through your actions the enduring value of solidarity.
