PRESS RELEASE Dr. Carlos Ramírez Confirms His Participation in the 17th Annual Boston Health Fair
Boston, Massachusetts. — The Hispanic Association of Health Professionals, Inc. — AHPSI, together with the Organizing Committee of the 17th Annual Boston Health Fair, organized by the Casa de la Cultura Dominicana de Boston, is pleased to announce the participation of Dr. Carlos Ramírez, who will provide free preventive services, basic evaluations, and guidance on respiratory care.
During the event, Dr. Ramírez will be available to perform non-invasive measurements of blood oxygen levels using pulse oximetry, offer education on asthma, provide recommendations to improve sleep hygiene, and guide individuals living with chronic respiratory conditions. He will also share practical advice on recognizing warning signs, preventing complications, and seeking timely medical attention.
Dr. Carlos Ramírez is a graduate of the School of Medicine at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo — UASD and works as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. He has more than 25 years of professional experience at Kindred Hospital Boston North Shore, Spaulding Cambridge Hospital, and Kindred Hospital Boston, where he has been involved in the care of patients with complex respiratory conditions, mechanical ventilation therapy, and gradual weaning processes from ventilatory support.
He also served as President of the Dominican Medical College, New England–Boston Chapter, and is a collaborator with AHPSI in initiatives focused on education, prevention, and bringing health services closer to the Hispanic community.
