Lic. Juana de los Santos Brings Communication Expertise, Wellness Services, and Live Broadcasting to the XIII Annual Community Health Fair
Elizabeth, NJ – July 22, 2026 – The Hispanic Association of Health Professionals, Inc. (AHPSI) is pleased to announce the prominent participation of Lic. Juana de los Santos at the XIII Annual Community Health Fair “Decide to Be Healthy”. The event will take place on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Escuela Juan Pablo Duarte & José Martí, located at 25 First Street, Elizabeth, New Jersey 07206.
In addition to serving on the Health Fair Organizing Committee, Lic. Juana de los Santos will offer therapeutic massage services to attendees, focusing on promoting relaxation, relieving muscle tension, reducing stress, and supporting the physical and emotional well-being of the community.
Her role will also include the presentation and promotion of participating agencies, institutions, professionals, and community organizations. Leveraging her extensive experience in communications, she will help showcase the services, resources, and programs each institution will bring to the fair.
A highlight of her participation will be the coordination and hosting of the live broadcast of TV AHPSI – Tu Voz, streaming via YouTube and Zoom. During the coverage, she will conduct interviews with health professionals, agency representatives, volunteers, sponsors, and event participants. This important initiative will allow AHPSI to broadly promote the mission of the participating organizations, highlight their contributions to the community, and help more families learn about available programs, services, and resources to improve their health and quality of life.
Professional Profile
Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Lic. Juana de los Santos is a seasoned international professional with extensive experience in social communication, aesthetics, masotherapy, and holistic wellness.
She holds a degree in Social Communication from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD). Driven by her interest in health and beauty, she furthered her education with studies in Cosmiatry at the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), and specialized in Cosmetology and Masotherapy at INFOTEP.
Career in Antigua and Barbuda (2004–2015) During her time in Antigua and Barbuda, Lic. de los Santos built a distinguished career in media. She served as a news presenter for ABS Television and as a news announcer for Power FM 88.5, earning recognition for her professionalism, credibility, and commitment to responsible, community-focused journalism. She became one of the first Dominican women to work as a television presenter in Antigua and Barbuda — a significant milestone for Dominican representation in Caribbean media.
Simultaneously, she developed a successful career in the wellness and hospitality industry, working as a Senior Therapist at Sugar Ridge Resort and as part of the team at Royalton Antigua Resort, where she provided body therapies, relaxation techniques, and specialized skin care services.
She later continued her professional journey in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, collaborating with renowned wellness centers such as Sacred Paradise Spa and Oasis Soul Spa, where she has worked as a specialized therapist and therapy assistant, refining techniques focused on physical health, emotional well-being, and holistic balance.
AHPSI deeply appreciates the dedication, commitment, and professional versatility of Lic. Juana de los Santos. Her participation will greatly contribute to the success of the Health Fair by combining communication, health education, therapeutic wellness, and community outreach.
