The Hispanic Association of Health Professionals, Inc. NY (AHPSI) is honored to highlight the historical and human significance of the X Annual Dr. Marcos Charles Santana Award — Health Legacy Award, a distinction that celebrates ten years of inspiration, gratitude, and recognition for professionals, community leaders, and public servants who have left meaningful marks on the health, education, leadership, and well-being of our communities.
This award was born as a tribute to the extraordinary legacy of Dr. Marcos Charles Santana, physician, educator, and mentor of generations, remembered for more than five decades of professional practice, academic service, and commitment to the training of hundreds of physicians and health professionals.
On its tenth anniversary, this recognition reaffirms AHPSI’s mission to honor excellence, preserve the memory of those who paved the way, and inspire new generations to serve with ethics, human sensitivity, and community commitment.
Under the motto “10 Years Inspiring Generations · 10 Años Inspirando Generaciones”, AHPSI continues to elevate the value of legacy, continuing education, and service as fundamental pillars for transforming lives.
