HISPANIC ASSOCIATION OF HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS, INC. (AHPSI)
NEW YORK
Dear Colleagues and AHPSI Members,
On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are pleased to invite you to our flagship event: the XX International Multidisciplinary Medical Congress AHPSI | NYC. This year, we will focus on a topic of critical importance: “Practical Approach to Immunological Diseases.”
The event will take place on Sunday, May 24, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Montefiore Medical Center – Cherkasky Auditorium (Moses Division, 111 East 210th St, Bronx, NY 10467).
Why Immunological Diseases?
Immune-mediated diseases are a group of chronic conditions affecting over 230 million people worldwide. In the U.S., nearly 1.16% of the population suffers from major immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs) such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and lupus, with conditions like atopic dermatitis affecting over 3.5% of Americans. As incidence rises due to aging populations and environmental factors, a multidisciplinary understanding of these pathologies is essential for primary care, internal medicine, and specialists alike. This congress will provide practical tools for managing these frequent and complex diseases.
NEW THIS YEAR: Professional Development & Licensing Workshops
As always, AHPSI is committed to advancing your career. This year, we will host our traditional workshops on navigating the licensure process for Nursing, Medicine, and Psychology. Additionally, for the first time, we are proud to introduce a mini-workshop on how to obtain your Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) license in New York—a growing and vital field in our communities.
We look forward to celebrating two decades of educational excellence with you.
