With a remarkable legacy spanning over 35 years, he has orchestrated an array of impactful initiatives, including health fairs, scientific symposiums, educational courses, and skill-enriching workshops. However, his profound impact transcends these endeavors, as he has provided invaluable guidance and counseling to immigrant health professionals, enabling them to navigate and excel within the intricate healthcare landscape. Such selfless contributions have garnered him an astonishing tally of over 50 distinct accolades from a diverse spectrum of institutions, a testament to his indelible imprint on the field and his enduring spirit of service.

 

Here are some of Dr. Restituyo’s accomplishments:

  • Graduated from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo UASD with a Doctor of Medicine degree
  • Earned an associate degree in nursing from EDP University, Puerto Rico
  • Academic coordinator of the national certification program for medical assistant, phlebotomy, EKG, dental assistant, and physical therapy assistant
  • Adjunct professor of the Doors to the Future program at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Hackensack and Perth Amboy
  • President of the Hispanic Association of Health Professionals Inc NY
  • President of the Dominican American Community Association, [DACANJI] in the city of Perth Amboy
  • Instrumental in changing the way that health professionals, especially doctors, from Latin America are received in the United States
  • Guided and offered hope to many health professionals who have immigrated to the United States
  • Helped many health professionals to find better opportunities in the United States
  • Leader, educator, and advocate for the Hispanic community in the United States
