AHPSI, Health Fairs: Providing Quality, Culturally-Sensitive Healthcare to the Hispanic Community for Over 30 Years
Our health fairs save lives!!!
For over 30 years, AHPSI has been providing quality, culturally-sensitive healthcare to the Hispanic community through its health fairs. Held in schools, parks, churches, hospitals, and on the streets, AHPSI, I, health fairs offer a wide range of free health screenings and services, including:
Blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar screenings
HIV testing
Vision and hearing screenings
Dental screenings
Health education and counseling
Referrals to community health resources
In addition to providing free health screenings and services, AHPSI,health fairs also offer a variety of cultural activities, such as:
Live music and entertainment
Food and refreshments
Children’s activities
Prize giveaways
AHPSI health fairs are a great way for Hispanic families to learn about their health, get screened for potential health problems, and connect with community health resources. They are also a fun and engaging way to celebrate Hispanic culture and heritage.
