On behalf of the Hispanic Association of Health Professionals, Inc., NY, we are pleased to formally motivate the delivery of recognition to Dr. Evelyn Tuero Llanos for being a recipient of the 7th “Dr. Marcos Charles Santana, Health Legacy” award. The award ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 21, 2023, at the Art Gallery of Pediatrics 2000, located at 3332 Broadway, New York, time 6pm.

Dr. Evelyn Tuero Llanos is a highly accomplished individual with a remarkable career and outstanding contributions to the field of medicine. Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Dr. Llanos obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from the prestigious Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra, Medical School. Her educational background reflects her commitment to excellence and dedication to the medical profession.

As a mother of three children, Dr. Llanos has not only excelled in her own career but has also nurtured and inspired the next generation. Her two daughters, Danielle and Stephanie Llanos, followed in her footsteps and have become medical doctors, while her son, Robert Llanos, pursues his studies in civil engineering. Dr. Llanos influence and guidance have undoubtedly played a crucial role in shaping their paths and instilling in them a passion for their respective fields.

Dr. Llanos has accumulated an impressive 36 years of experience, specializing in family medicine. She received extensive training in family medicine at North Shore University in Glen Cove, New York. Her expertise and commitment to providing comprehensive medical care have led her to establish her own practice, “Comprehensive Medical Family Care,” on Long Island, New York. In a relatively short period, her practice has grown to become the largest Latino care practice in the community, serving a diverse population with excellence and compassion.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Furthermore, Dr. Evelyn Tuero Llanos holds a diploma from the American Academy of Family Physicians, a prestigious recognition that further exemplifies her dedication to professional development and staying at the forefront of her field. Her pursuit of continuous learning and improvement demonstrates her unwavering commitment to providing the highest quality of care to her patients.

Dr. Llanos accomplishments and contributions extend beyond her professional achievements. She actively engages in community outreach initiatives, providing healthcare education and support to underserved populations. Her compassionate approach and willingness to go above and beyond have made a significant impact on the lives of countless individuals and families.
