Dr. Leonor Francis Tavarez Silverio. Dr. Leonor is a highly accomplished professional who has made significant contributions to the field of psychology and the community at large.
Her last study carried out at the National University Pedro Henríquez Ureña UNPHU university was the Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, approved by the General Council of Education and Technology and the Ministry of Higher Education, from the Dominican Republic.
Dr. Leonor became the general coordinator of this master’s degree, where several students from the area graduated, most of whom are currently working in the area of mental health in several cities of the United States. Her leadership and mentorship qualities have played a significant role in shaping the careers of these individuals.
Furthermore, the National University Pedro Henríquez Ureña UNPHU-New York made a special recognition to Dr. Leonor Tavarez for being the only student who completed three Master’s degrees and graduated with high academic rates at UNPHU-New York. This recognition is a testament to Dr. Leonor’s dedication and commitment to academic excellence.
Apart from her academic achievements, Dr. Leonor has been a volunteer for several years for various organizations, offering her services at different community health fairs. She has been recognized by several mayors of cities such as Elizabeth and Perth Amboy in the state of New Jersey for her exemplary service and commitment to the community.
Dr. Leonor is a founder and currently holds the rank of colonel and volunteer officer of the world academy of firefighters in New York City. Her selflessness, dedication, and commitment to serving others is a true reflection of her humanistic values.
