Note of interest: AHPSI, is the Hispanic Association of Health Professionals, Inc NY, founded in 1989, with more than 3000 members, medical professionals, nurses, dentists, psychologists and laboratory technicians, it is the only association in the entire United States Unidos, which brings together these professionals, our main mission is to contribute to a faster insertion of our professionals in the health area, in the United States, we achieve these objectives by offering conferences, seminars, workshops, personal interviews, medical congresses, includes referral for jobs, more recently we have established 2 zoom programs, in which we offer updated medical conferences, information on training opportunities and jobs, for our members. Our community health fair program was born in 1992, with the basic objective of offering medical services, education and health prevention, to all attendees who lack health insurance or cannot pay for some health services. , very soon we adopted the slogan of “decide to be healthy” or “decide to be healthy”,
We have organized health fairs in New York, New Jersey,
Philadelphia-Pennsylvania, in Juma-Bonao, Dominican Republic, Santiago, Dom Rep, and also in Sabana Grande de Boya, Dom Rep, in this time of 30 years, we have organized more than 175 community health fairs, serving more of 100,000 clients, due to the results obtained, we can say today that our health fairs save lives!
