Death report of 5 US Food ® employees, in Perth Amboy.
Perth Amboy is a city located in Middlesex County in the state of New Jersey with more than 50,000 inhabitants, with a 78% of Latino residents, of which it is estimated that more than 52% is of Dominican origin. Perth Amboy, is at the top of the report list of most cases affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, with more than 17,000 positive cases, and more than 1,200 deaths, to this day.
The appearance of COVID-19 in the United States has brought us a sad reality, a global collapse of all health-related institutions, such as the nursing home hospital system, CDC, including OSHA, and many factors about the corona virus we are still learning about.
The editorial of New York times yesterday June 22, 2020, which reports that meat processing plants have the highest index of COVID-19 contamination sources.
PERTH AMBOY, US FOOD 5 EMPLOYEES DIE:
A consequence of this crisis is what we are denouncing on this occasion, which is occurring in the city of Perth Amboy, with the company US Foods ® which operates in the city, with more than 300 employees, in which they have already had 5 employees die without any local, state or federal authority having initiated any preventive measures yet to date.
The most worrisome thing is that this company US foods®, a company dedicated to the distribution of restaurant food, with more than 28,000 employees throughout the country, and more than 70 stores, this company is currently donating food contaminated with the virus-crown in the city of Perth Amboy, and other cities which is why we understand that it will be difficult to stop and slow down the spread of COVID 19, in this city of Perth Amboy. The consequences of all this so far is the report of 5 deaths, which The New Jersey State Department of Health has not reported it.
“I called our mayor Wilda Diaz several weeks ago, asking them to start an investigation, without getting a response from her,” said Dr. Carmen Cecilia Ramirez, who was saddened to see her brother Mr. Ignacio Felix Ramirez, an employee die from US Food.
“No one has passed through here doing massive tests, despite these 5 deaths,” said Juan Carlos, a US Food employee, consulted for this report.
That is why we are calling on the entire city council of the city of Perth Amboy, and our Honorable Assemblyman Yvonne Lopez, also on the governor of the state of New Jersey, Hon.Phil Murphy, to formally request the corresponding institutions like the health department, OSHA, an investigation into these 5 deaths, so we can prevent more deaths in this city.
I extend this call to the Honorable Dominican Consul of the state of New York, Lic. Carlos Castillo, which also includes the state of New Jersey, to join the investigation in tracking the relatives of the deceased, to provide testing for all employees, and determine the safety of food, in order to prevent this company from continuing to contaminate its employees and our community.
It is about preserving the life of our community in the city of Perth Amboy, it is about bringing peace, and tranquility in this city that has seen hundreds of patients die.

Reporte muerte de 5 empleados de US Foods ®, en Perth Amboy.
Perth Amboy, es una ciudad ubicada en el condado de Middlesex, en el estado de New Jersey, con mas de 50, 000 habitantes, con un porcentaje de residentes latinos de un 78%, de los cuales se estima que mas del 52% es de origen Dominicano , esta ciudad de Perth amboy, esta encabezando la lista de reporte de mayoria de los casos afectados por la pandemia del COVID19 , con mas de 17,000 casos positivos, y mas de 1,200 fallecidos, hasta el dia de hoy.
La aparicion del COVID 19 en Estados Unidos nos ha traido una triste realidad un colapso global de todas las instituciones relacionada a la salud, tales como el sistema hospitalario nursing Home, CDC , incluyendo la gencia OSHA, muchas factores sobre el Corona virus lo estamos aprendiendo sobre la marcha.
El editorial de New York times del dia de ayer Junio 22, 2020, el cual reporta que en las plantas procesadora de carnes estan la mayor indice fuentes de contaminacion del COVID 19.
US FOOD MUEREN 5 EMPLEADOS:
Consecuencia de esa crisis es lo que estamos denunciando en esta ocasion, el cual esta ocurriendo en la ciudad de Perth Amboy, con la empresa US Food ® la cual funciona en la ciudad, con mas de 300 empleados, en la cual ya han fallecidos 5 empleados de esa compania sin que ninguna autoridad local ,estatal o federal haya iniciado ninguna medida preventiva, hasta el dia de hoy.
Lo mas preocupantes es que esta empresa US foods®, dedicada a la distribucion de comida para Restaurant ,con mas de 28,000, empleados en todo el pais,y mas de 70 locales, esta empresa actualmente esta donando comida contaminanda con el corona-virus en la ciudad de Perth amboy, y otras ciudades motivo por el cual entendemos que se hara dificil bajar la frecuencia del COVID 19, en esta ciudad de Perth Amboy, las consecuencias de todo esto hasta este momento es el reporte de 5 muertes, los cuales el departamento de Salud del estado de New Jersey, no lo han reportado.
“Yo llame a nuestra alcaldesa Wilda Diaz hace varias semanas, pidiendoles que iniciara una investigacion, sin obtener respuesta de ella” expreso la Dra.Carmen Cecilia Ramirez, la cual paso por la pena de ver morir su hermano Sr.Ignacio Feliz Ramirez, empleado de US Food .
“Por aqui no pasado nadie haciendo pruebas masivas, apesar de estas 5 muertes” expreso Juan Carlos, empleado de US Food, consultado para este reportaje.
Es por eso que estamos haciendo un llamado a todo el consejo municipal de la ciudad de Perth Amboy , y nuestra Honorable Asambleista Yvonne Lopez, tambien a el governador del estado de New Jersey, Hon.Phil Murphy, para que soliciten formalmente a las instituciones correspondientes como el departamento de salud, OSHA, una investigacion, sobre estas 5 muertes , y asi podamos evitar mas fallecimientos en esta ciudad.
Hago extensivo este llamado al Honorable Consul Dominicano del estado de New York,Lic.Carlos Castillo, el cual incluye tam bien el estado de New Jersey, para que se una en la investigacion en rastrear los familiares de los fallecidos, hacer pruebas del COVID 19 ,a los empleados, determinar la seguridad de la comida ,que no este contaminada, para evitar que esta empresa siga contaminando a sus empleados y a nuestra comunidad.
Se trata de la preservacion de la vida de nuestra comunidad en la ciudad de Perth amboy, se trata de traer paz, y sosiego en esta ciudad que ha visto morir cientos de pacientes.
