Jose Manuel Brito Bueno Biography
Mr. Jose Manuel Brito Bueno was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. His Parents Regino Brito and Justina Bueno. At the age 18 years old, he and his father moved to Camden, NJ. Since then, he made Camden his home along with his wife, Ana Merfi Ortega, and his 3 children, Karina J. Brito, Kimberly J. Brito and Justin M. Brito.
Mr. Brito started working at the age of 18 in a printing company. He made his education a priority. In 1996, he went to Camden County College where he pursuit his associate in computer science and received the Dean’s List 1996 and 1997. In 2009, he graduated from Rowan University in Political Science, and received the Dean’s List in 2008 and 2009; also, Pi-sigma Alpha (The National Political Science Honor Society). Then, he went to Philadelphia Community College where he received his 10,000 Small Business Certificate of Entrepreneurship Golman Sachs in 2014He served on the Camden City Public Schools at the request of Mayor Dana Redd, from 2013 to 2019. He dealt with a budget of over 319 Million Dollars, served in the Finance Committee. In 2019, he won his election representing as Camden County Democratic Organization Committee. He serves as board of director for the New Jersey Hispanic Leadership Association; an organization that empowers the Latino Community throughout New Jersey.
Jose was instrumental in establishing his own business in 2008, Wecare, Home Care. He has over 240 employees. His mission of Wecare, Home care, Inc. is to provide in-home personal care and related homemaking services.
Jose has a heart of gold; he believes in helping others who are disadvantaged. His motto is “Love your God and Love your Neighbors.” He had given over 25,000’s of dollars to charity and faith-based organizations since his business started in 2008.
Since then, Mr. Brito Bueno has been on many articles in the Newspapers, Magazine (Nationally) and television as a pioneer in business, government and education.
Jose’s philosophy has always been one of gratitude and this notion of service to others. He is grateful and blessed of having his family’s support as well as his friends. He is a renowned entrepreneur and mentor to young people. He believes that one’s dream must flourish and with hard work, helping others and overcoming obstacles, your goal will become a reality. His story is one of success.
