AHPSI: Nueva iniciativa: Introduced a bill as a response to the nursing shortage Vs ” MD TO RN”
Tengo el Privilegio y honor como presidente del ahpsi, en anunciarles a ustedes,Miembros & Colaboradores cercanos, Lideres, de nuestra organizacion,que el pasado Jueves Enero, 19, 2017, en Horas de las 2:15pm, nos reunimos con la Hon.Asamblesista del Distrito 72 del Estado de New York, La Señora Carmen De la Rosa, a la cual le solicitamos presentar un Bill [Legislacion], ante la asamblea de Albany, New York, el cual le permita a todo medico graduado en exterior, presentar directamente el exámen del Nclex, para obtener la licencia de enfermeria, o RN, del estado de New York, sin tener que ir a ninguna otra escuela de Enfermeria, como esta ocurriendo actualmente. Esta legislacion estamos muy seguro que contribuira a reducir el deficit de enfermeras en estado de New York, y ademas mejorara las condicionesde vida de mucho de nuestros profesionales medicos procedentes del extranjero.
La propuesta de ley se esta revisando y considerando grandemente para presentarla en la asamblea del estado de New York.

I have the privilege and honor as President of Ahpsi, to announce to you, Members , friends, & Leaders, of our organization, that last Thursday, January 19, 2017, at 2:15 pm Hours, we met with the Hon. State Assembly, (72nd District) New York State , Mrs. Carmen De la Rosa, to whom we request to present a Bill, before the assembly of Albany, New York, which allows all doctors graduated abroad, present Directly the Nclex exam, to obtain the nursing license, or RN, of the state of New York, without having to go to any other nursing school, as is currently happening. This legislation we are very sure will contribute to reduce the deficit of nurses in New York state, and will also improve the living conditions of many of our medical professionals from abroad.
The bill is being reviewed and considered greatly to present at the New York State Assembly.
